Wholesale Jackets from Bangladesh: Shell, Lining, Fill
A jacket is an outer garment, and unlike a knit top its performance depends on shell, lining, fill and zip. The lots on this page name each component, because a jacket is judged by its weakest one.
Jackets: lots held now
Which jacket lots are in stock now?
Jacket lots appear in the grid above as they are counted into the Dhaka warehouse, each stating style, shell fabric, lining, fill where present, size range, colours, available pieces and supply condition. Filters narrow the grid by style and condition.
Counts are physical counts taken on arrival, and availability is confirmed at enquiry. Buyers see stock available for immediate shipment across all categories for the full list.
What jacket styles and shell fabrics are held?
Lots cover bomber, windbreaker, puffer, denim, harrington and coach jackets. Shell fabrics include nylon, polyester, cotton twill and denim, and the shell and lining are stated separately per lot, together with size range, colours and piece count.
| Style | Typical shell | Typical lining |
|---|---|---|
| Bomber | Nylon or polyester twill | Polyester taffeta or quilted |
| Windbreaker | Nylon or polyester ripstop | Mesh or unlined |
| Puffer | Nylon or polyester, 20 to 40 denier | Polyester taffeta |
| Denim jacket | 10 to 14 oz cotton denim | Unlined |
| Coach jacket | Nylon or poly-cotton | Polyester or mesh |
Denier is the weight in grams of 9,000 metres of yarn, so a lower denier shell is lighter and finer. Ripstop is a weave with reinforcing threads at regular intervals that stops tears from spreading.
What fill weights and insulation are listed?
Insulated jackets state fill type and weight in grams per square metre. Polyester wadding commonly runs 80 to 200 grams per square metre, where 80 suits transitional wear and 150 or more suits winter.
Fill type is stated as polyester wadding, polyester fibrefill or down alternative. Where a lot's fill weight is unknown, the listing says so. A lot listed only as warm tells a buyer nothing, so weight comes before description. Quilting stitch spacing is also listed, because wide spacing lets fill migrate and leaves cold spots.
What construction and zip details are stated?
Each listing names the zip type, pocket count, cuff and hem finish, and seam treatment. Coil, metal and moulded plastic zips are the three types, and zip quality is the most common failure point on a jacket.
Zips fail at the slider and the stop before the fabric fails. We state the zip type per lot and check slider action on inspection. Water resistance is stated only where a test result or a finish is documented, since a jacket marked water-repellent without a rating holds no measured claim. Resistance is rated by hydrostatic head, the height in millimetres of water the fabric withstands before leaking.
Buyers wanting a specified shell, lining and fill in volume use jacket production instead.
How do jacket size ratios break?
Stock lots carry the sizes that remained. Middle sizes M and L clear first, and jackets add a fit variable: slim and regular cuts size differently, so we publish count per size and state the fit.
Chest and sleeve length are listed in centimetres, so buyers compare against their size chart. Pre-shipment inspection of a jacket lot covers zip function, seam strength, shade match between panels and lining, and measurement against the chart.
How are jackets packed for export?
Jackets ship folded, one per polybag, or hanging where a retail format requires it. Insulated jackets are compression-packed or boxed, and the packing method is stated per listing. Ask us to confirm the carton quantity before booking freight.
Insulated pieces compress well but must not stay compressed for long periods, because fill loses loft. Carton marks follow the buyer's layout. Minimums are stated on each listing, and larger single-style quantities sit in available stock lots.
How do I order jacket stock lots?
Send the style, shell fabric, fill weight, quantity and price range you work to. We confirm what matches and state the condition and size breakdown per lot. Buyers taking a first lot are encouraged to inspect, at the warehouse in Dhaka or through an inspector.
