Terms of Use: Quotations, Stock and Liability

Last updated: October 2026

These terms govern the use of the Global StockLot website and the handling of quotations and inquiries made through it. They are a plain statement of our practice and are not legal advice.

Who do these terms apply to?

They apply to every visitor and business that uses this website, sends an inquiry, or requests a quotation from Global StockLot, a Bangladesh-based men's wear manufacturer and sourcing partner in Uttara, Dhaka.

A signed contract or confirmed order document, where one exists, takes priority over these terms for that order. Data handling is described separately in the privacy policy.

Are quotations binding?

No. A quotation is non-binding until both parties confirm it in writing. Until then, price, quantity, specification and delivery terms are open to revision.

A confirmed order records the product, quantity, price, payment terms, Incoterm and delivery schedule. Quotations for production state the specification they were prepared against, and a change to that specification changes the quotation. The lead time guide and MOQ guide explain what drives those terms.

Is stock availability guaranteed?

No. Listings on ready-stock and stock-lot pages show availability at the time of the last update. Availability is subject to confirmation and is committed to the first buyer who confirms.

Quantities, size breakdowns and conditions are confirmed at enquiry. A buyer arranging freight confirms the quantity with us first. Product images and descriptions are intended to identify the lot, and the confirmed lot sheet governs where it differs from the listing.

Who owns the designs a buyer supplies?

The buyer. Designs, artwork, patterns, tech packs and brand marks supplied by a buyer remain the buyer's intellectual property. We use them only to fulfil that buyer's order and do not reuse them for other customers.

Buyers confirm they hold the rights to what they supply. Website content, including text, images and layout, belongs to Global StockLot, and visitors do not copy or republish it without written permission. Branded stock is described per lot, and buyers confirm resale rights for branded goods in their destination market.

What are the limits of our liability?

The website and its information are provided as published. To the extent applicable law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on a listing before an order is confirmed.

Liability on a confirmed order is set by the order document. Buyers are advised to verify goods through inspection, in person or by a third-party inspector, before payment; the inspection guide describes the method. Nothing in these terms limits liability that law does not allow to be limited.

What are the buyer's responsibilities?

Buyers provide accurate specifications and destination details, confirm the import rules of their market, and pay under the agreed terms. Duty, taxes and customs clearance at destination fall to the buyer unless the order states otherwise.

The HS codes guide and the import guide outline how a buyer checks classification and documents.

Which law applies?

** Questions about these terms go to us on WhatsApp at +8801616989909 or through the contact page.**

How are claims and disputes raised?

Buyers report a concern in writing to us, with the order reference, a description of the issue and supporting photographs or inspection reports. We acknowledge the report and respond with a proposed resolution.

Claims are assessed against the confirmed lot sheet or the approved sample, since those documents define what was agreed. Buyers retain third-party inspection reports, which serve as the common reference for both parties. Contact is through WhatsApp at +8801616989909 or the contact page.

What happens to inquiry information?

Information submitted through an inquiry is used to respond and to prepare a quotation. The privacy policy describes the data collected, how long it is kept and the rights visitors have over it.

How do these terms change?

We update them as practice or law changes, and the date at the top shows the latest revision. Continued use of the website after an update means acceptance of the revised terms.
