What men's wear can be manufactured in Bangladesh?
We produce woven bottoms — denim, twill, chino, cargo and formal trousers, shorts — woven shirts, and knit tops including t-shirts, polos, hoodies and sweatshirts. Outerwear and boxers are produced alongside. Every category is cut, sewn and finished to buyer specification.
| Category | Fabric bases | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Denim jeans | 10–14 oz rigid and stretch denim | Five-pocket, carpenter, tapered |
| Twill and chino trousers | Cotton twill | Flat-front, pleated, garment or piece dyed |
| Cargo trousers | Ripstop, canvas, stretch twill | Six-pocket, utility, bar-tacked |
| Formal trousers | Polyviscose, wool blend, cotton | Curtain waistband, crease set |
| Woven shirts | Poplin, oxford, chambray, twill | Formal and casual, pattern matched |
| T-shirts | Single jersey | Tubular and side-seam |
| Polo shirts | Pique, interlock | Knitted and self-fabric collars |
| Hoodies and sweatshirts | 260–400 GSM fleece, French terry | Crew, half-zip, full-zip |
| Outerwear | Nylon, polyester, cotton shells | Bomber, coach, padded, denim |
Categories outside this list — footwear, leather goods, headwear beyond caps — are sourced through our network rather than made in-house. We say which is which on every quotation, because a buyer needs to know whether they are dealing with the producer or an intermediary. Buyers who must evidence social compliance before an order can read how BSCI and SMETA audits work and what each report records.
What minimum order quantity applies per garment category?
Minimum order quantity is set by fabric mill minimums and trim lot sizes rather than by factory preference. Knit categories start lower than woven because jersey is held domestically; woven categories relying on imported fabric carry higher minimums per colourway.
Two levers genuinely move a minimum. Choosing a fabric the mill already holds removes the dyeing lot constraint entirely. Consolidating colourways — three colours in one fabric rather than three fabrics — spreads a single lot across the order. Why minimums exist and where they can move explains the mechanics in full. Buyers benchmarking these terms against larger programmes can see which brands manufacture in Bangladesh.
How does an order move from specification to shipment?
Eight stages: quotation against specification, sampling and approval, order confirmation with deposit, fabric and trim procurement, cutting, sewing and finishing, in-line and final quality control, pre-shipment inspection, and shipment with documents.
The calendar for a first order runs 90 to 120 days from approved specification to loaded container. Repeat orders against an approved specification run 75 to 95 days, because sampling is already complete. Fabric procurement is the stage buyers underestimate most — a made-to-order dyeing lot adds 15 to 25 days before cutting can begin.
What does the factory need from a buyer before production starts?
A tech pack or a reference garment, a colour reference that is physical or Pantone rather than a colour name, a size chart with tolerances, and labelling and packing instructions. Missing any of these adds sample rounds.
Buyers arriving with a complete specification reach an approved pre-production sample in two rounds. Buyers arriving with a reference garment take three, because the measurement chart is built from the garment first. Buyers arriving with a photograph take four or more. What a tech pack must contain sets out the six mandatory sections and the four things first packs omit.
Where a buyer has no technical capability, the ODM route starts from our developed blocks instead, which removes the specification burden entirely.
How is quality controlled during and after production?
Quality control runs in-line during sewing and again at final inspection before packing, against the approved pre-production sample. Buyers may appoint a third-party inspector, and we recommend it on a first order.
The approved sample is the reference for every judgement. In-line control catches construction faults while a batch can still be corrected; final inspection samples finished goods against the measurement chart and tolerance table. Third-party pre-shipment inspection to AQL standards is arranged on request and is the cheapest risk reduction available on a first consignment.
Which fabrics and finishes are run in-house?
This matters more than most capability claims, because it determines lead time control and who is accountable for a defect. A factory that subcontracts washing does not control the wash calendar. Ask this question of every supplier, including us; we answer it directly.
How do I order men's wear manufacturing in Bangladesh?
Send a specification, a reference garment, or a description of what you need. We reply with a written quotation stating unit price, minimum quantity, lead time and what we need from you to proceed — and, where a specification has gaps, what is missing before the price can be firm.
Buyers still choosing a production country can read Bangladesh compared with other origins before requesting a quotation.
Buyers who want to see production before committing are welcome to visit the factory and showroom. Buyers who want to test the relationship at lower exposure can start with ready stock we already hold, which removes sampling and bulk production from a first transaction.
