Stock lots
Stock lots are finished men's garments from Bangladesh export units whose route to market was interrupted: shipment-cancelled orders, export surplus and end-of-season clearance. We count and grade each lot, state its condition, size ratio and piece count, and price it below wholesale.

Stock lots behave differently from made-to-order goods in ways a buyer needs to plan for.
A stock lot is a quantity of finished garments sold as a lot rather than by style and size. It comes from a cancelled order, a production overrun or end-of-season clearance, and is priced on the lot rather than per piece against a size curve.
The defining characteristic is that the quantity is finite. Stock lots cannot be reordered — what exists is what exists. A supplier able to produce more of the same lot next month is selling made-to-order goods described as a lot, which is a different product at a different price.
Three sources: shipments cancelled by the original buyer after production, overruns from the fabric allowance factories cut against defects, and stock remaining when a season closed. Each lot's listing names its source and states its condition.
| Source | Quantity | Size ratio | Condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shipment cancelled | Large — a full order | Complete | First quality |
| Export surplus | Small — 2–5% of an order | Partial | First quality |
| Clearance | Variable | Broken | Mixed |
Knowing the source tells a buyer what to expect before they see the goods. A cancelled shipment carries a complete size curve because it was made to fill one. Clearance stock does not, because the sellable sizes sold first. Branded lots add a provenance question, covered in verifying what you are buying.
Lots are opened, counted, sorted by size and colour, and graded as first quality, seconds or mixed. Defects are identified and separated. The stated count is a physical count, not the count on the original packing list.
This is where suppliers differ most and where a buyer is most exposed. A lot bought and resold unopened carries whatever the previous holder said it contained. We count physically before listing, and where a lot contains seconds we say what proportion and what the defects are.
Grading terminology varies across the trade, so we state it explicitly per lot rather than relying on a shared understanding that does not exist:
Lots in every supply condition, sorted by garment category, are also listed under stock available for immediate shipment.
Irregular ones. Real stock lots come in broken ratios because they are what remained after the sellable sizes went. A lot offered in a perfect size curve at unlimited quantity is not a stock lot.
Plan distribution to the actual breakdown rather than an assumed curve. We send the real ratio before you commit, including when it is inconvenient, because a buyer who discovers it at their own warehouse does not order again.
Per lot, not per piece against a size curve. Price reflects the source, the grading, the size ratio and the season, and sits between 30 and 60 percent of the equivalent wholesale price for made-to-order goods.
Pricing far below that band calls for a question rather than an order. Genuine surplus is discounted goods, not a fraction of retail, and a price that only makes sense for counterfeit product indicates counterfeit product. How to tell genuine surplus from replica goods sets out the checks, and it is worth running them on any supplier including us.
Tell us the categories, quantities and price range you work to, and we will send what is currently available with the source, grading and actual size ratio stated per lot. Lots move quickly, so availability is confirmed at enquiry rather than held.
Buyers taking a first lot are encouraged to inspect before paying, either in person at the warehouse or through an inspector of their choosing. Where you need consistent repeat quantities that stock lots cannot supply, manufacturing to order is the route that can. Buyers new to the route can read importing clothing from Bangladesh before the first lot ships.
