Clearance Stock: End-of-Season Mixed Assortments

Clearance stock is end-of-season men's wear from Bangladesh, sold in mixed assortments with broken size ratios and mixed colours at discount-retail prices. Each lot states its condition, size ratio and piece count.

Ask about Clearance

It is the cheapest category we hold and the least uniform, and the origin of each lot explains why.

What is clearance stock in garments?

Clearance stock is finished men's wear left unsold at the close of a selling season and released at a reduced price. It differs from surplus and cancelled goods by origin: the garments were made for sale, not for one specific order.

Three stock categories are routinely confused. Export surplus is the cut allowance left after a shipment. Cancelled stock is a finished order a buyer declined. Clearance is inventory that went through a selling season and did not sell through. The origin sets the size ratio, the quantity and the price, so we state it on every listing. Surplus and cancelled lots sit in their own categories for that reason.

Which clearance lots are available now?

No clearance lots are listed right now. Lots appear here as they are counted in, so ask and we will check the warehouse and our supplier network.

Each lot is counted physically on arrival. The figure on a listing is our count, not a figure carried from an earlier packing list. Availability is confirmed at enquiry, because a lot shown this morning can be committed by the afternoon. Buyers planning freight ask us to confirm quantity before booking space. Retailers comparing clearance with other sourcing options can read wholesale routes for retailers.

Why are clearance size ratios and colours broken?

Retail sells the common sizes and the popular colours first, so what remains is skewed. A typical clearance lot is short in the middle sizes, long in the extremes, and mixed across colourways.

Sizes M and L sell through before XS and XXL in most men's wear ranges. The residue therefore leans toward the ends of the curve. Colour behaves the same way: core colours (navy, black, white) clear first and seasonal colours remain.

We publish the physical size breakdown before a buyer commits. A lot heavy in XL is worth more to a buyer serving that customer and less to one who is not, and the breakdown settles the question before payment.

Who buys clearance stock?

Discount retailers, market traders, off-price chains and export wholesalers buy clearance stock, because mixed assortments suit channels that sell by the piece at a low price point rather than by a complete size run.

Buyers needing a full curve in one colour, repeat quantities, or consistent labelling are better served by ready-stock lots with a stated size breakdown or by manufacturing to order, where the curve is specified. For traders reselling through shops and markets, the sourcing overview sets out the routes open to a buyer of mixed stock.

How are clearance lots graded and priced?

Lots are opened, counted, sorted by garment type, size and colour, and inspected by piece where quantity permits and by sample where it does not. Price reflects broken ratios, mixed styles and condition, and is quoted per lot or per piece.

Grading separates first-quality pieces from seconds, and the proportion of each is recorded. Seconds are garments carrying an identified defect such as a minor stain, a loose seam or a shade variation. Where a lot is mixed, we state the proportion rather than imply uniform quality. Inspection routines for stock lots follow the same checks used in production: measurement against a size chart, seam inspection and visual shade comparison.

Minimums are stated on each listing. A buyer who wants to confirm condition before paying inspects in person at the warehouse or appoints an inspector.

How are clearance lots packed for despatch?

Clearance lots ship either as sorted cartons, with a stated count per carton, or as mixed bales where the buyer accepts an unsorted assortment at a lower price. The packing format is stated per listing.

Sorted cartons carry a size and colour label, so a buyer receives goods ready to distribute. Mixed bales carry a total piece count and a description of contents. Buyers with a shipping mark layout or a carton requirement send it with the order rather than after packing, because repacking a sealed consignment adds handling cost.

How do I order clearance stock lots?

Browse the lots above, or send us the garment types, quantities and price range you work to. We confirm what matches, state the source, grading and actual size breakdown per lot, and say so plainly when a lot does not suit the channel you describe.
