Shipment-cancelled lots are finished men's garments from Bangladesh that an overseas buyer left after production. Each lot states its condition, size ratios and piece count.

They are complete production runs that never left the factory, which is why their size curves are usually intact.
Shipment cancelled means a buyer cancelled an export order after the garments were produced, and the finished goods stayed with the factory. The product is made to a real specification, in full size curves, and was never delivered.
The garments exist because an order existed. A buyer placed it, the factory cut, sewed, finished and packed it, and the shipment did not proceed. The goods are sometimes called cancelled-order garments or order-cancelled stock. All three terms describe the same event.
Orders are cancelled after production for five recurring reasons: late delivery against the contract date, a failed buyer inspection, payment or letter-of-credit problems, a change in the buyer's demand, and a compliance or labelling dispute.
| Cause | What happened | Effect on the goods |
|---|---|---|
| Late delivery | Shipment missed the contracted ex-factory date | Goods are first quality; the date failed |
| Failed inspection | Buyer's inspector rejected the lot on an acceptable quality limit (AQL) result | Condition varies; stated per lot |
| Payment or L/C issue | Letter of credit expired or terms were not met | Goods are first quality |
| Demand change | Buyer's season or range was withdrawn | Goods are first quality |
| Compliance or label dispute | Packing, labelling or testing did not match the order | Goods are first quality, sometimes relabelled |
An AQL is the maximum defect rate a buyer accepts in an inspected sample, commonly 2.5 for major defects. A lot rejected on AQL is not necessarily unsound, because buyers set limits tighter than the retail market requires. We state the reason per lot where it is known and say so when it is not.
Most are first-quality garments in sealed export cartons, made on approved fabric to the buyer's specification. Lots rejected at inspection carry identified defects, and we record the proportion of seconds on the listing.
Grading follows the same sequence for every category: physical count, sort by size and colour, piece inspection where quantity permits, sample inspection where it does not. The figure we publish is our count, not the packing list figure.
Buyer-specific trims are the practical point to check. A cancelled lot can carry the original buyer's labels, hangtags or packaging. The label status is stated per lot, and what separates genuine overrun from a replica explains how provenance is verified on labelled goods.
Cancelled lots carry full size curves in large, single-style quantities, because they were produced to fill an order. Quantity runs far above surplus, and the ratio follows the buyer's original size plan.
This is the difference between cancelled stock and overrun surplus stock. Surplus is the 2 to 5 percent cut allowance left after shipping and arrives as a partial ratio. A cancelled order is the whole order. A buyer needing a complete curve in one style, in one colour, buys from this category.
The curve is still the buyer's curve, not the new buyer's. A lot built for a European size profile carries that profile. We publish the actual count per size before a buyer commits, so the fit to a target market is settled before payment.
Price is set per lot against what the same garment costs to produce, discounted for the cancellation, the condition and the label status. Complete curves and first-quality grading carry a higher price than clearance lots.
Three variables move the price: the condition grade, whether the original buyer's labels remain, and the quantity taken. Minimums are stated on each listing. Buyers taking a first lot are encouraged to inspect before payment, in person at the warehouse or through an inspector of their choosing.
The lots above are updated as new cancelled orders reach us, and availability is confirmed at enquiry rather than held.
Send us the garment type, fabric, quantity and size profile you need. We confirm which cancelled lots match, state the cause of cancellation where known, and report the condition and label status per lot. Buyers whose target quantity is small are directed to surplus and clearance lots instead.
