Which trouser lots are in the warehouse now?
No trousers lots are listed right now. Lots appear here as they are counted in, so ask and we will check the warehouse and our supplier network.
Counts are our physical counts on arrival. Availability is confirmed at enquiry rather than held. For everything else in the building, see what is in the warehouse now across all categories.
What trouser fabrics and weights are held?
Formal and smart-casual trousers are cut from suiting blends, cotton twills and poly-viscose fabrics, weighing between 200 and 300 grams per square metre. Composition and weight are stated per lot, so compare lots on the listing before you ask for a price.
| Fabric | Typical composition | Character |
|---|---|---|
| Poly-viscose suiting | 65 to 80 percent polyester, remainder viscose | Crease-resistant, holds a press |
| Cotton twill | 98 to 100 percent cotton | Casual, firm handle |
| Stretch blend | 97 percent base fibre, 3 percent elastane | Comfort fit |
| Wool-look blend | Polyester with wool content stated | Seasonal formal wear |
Lightweight fabrics under 220 grams per square metre suit warm markets and summer ranges. Cloths above 260 grams per square metre carry a heavier drape and suit autumn and winter. Twill-based casual trousers have their own page at twill pants.
What construction details define a trouser lot?
Each listing states the waistband type, fly closure, pocket construction, lining and hem finish. Measurements are given as waist, rise, inseam and leg opening in centimetres or inches, with composition and weight per lot.
The details that separate a good trouser from a poor one sit inside the garment: fused or sewn waistband interlining, pocket bag fabric, and seam allowance width. A fused waistband that bubbles after laundering signals poor adhesive or mismatched shrinkage.
We state the following per lot where known:
- Waistband: curtain, contour or elastic-back
- Fly: zip or button
- Pockets: slant, jetted or side seam
- Pleats: flat-front or single or double pleat
- Hem: unfinished, ready-to-wear or turn-up
Where a detail is unknown, the listing says so. For specified construction in volume, formal trouser manufacturing sets those details in the sample.
How do trouser size ratios break?
Trousers size by waist and inseam, so stock lots carry gaps across the size grid. Common waists clear first, and we publish the physical count per cell rather than an idealised curve.
A trouser lot across 10 waist sizes and 3 inseam lengths holds 30 cells, and a lot of a few hundred pieces leaves most cells shallow. Buyers match the breakdown against their market before agreeing a price. Sizing convention is stated per lot: inch waists in the UK, US and Gulf, even-numbered EU sizes (44 to 56) in continental Europe.
How are trousers packed for export?
Trousers ship folded, one piece per polybag, with a stated carton quantity, or hanging where a retail format requires it. Hanging cartons hold fewer units and cost more per piece to ship, so buyers state the format before packing.
Carton marks follow the buyer's layout and arrive with the order, not afterwards. Minimums are stated on each listing. Buyers needing larger single-style quantities look at stock lot quantities from cancelled and surplus orders, where full curves are held.
Inspection of a trouser lot covers measurement against a size chart, seam checks and shade comparison, and applies to our stock as to any supplier's.
How do I order trouser stock lots?
Send the fabrics, fits, quantities and price range you work to. We confirm what matches and state the condition and waist-inseam breakdown per lot. Buyers taking a first lot are encouraged to inspect, at the warehouse in Dhaka or through an inspector of their choosing.
