Wholesale Wallets from Bangladesh: Format and Card Slots

A wallet is a flat folding or single-piece case for banknotes and cards. Lots here state format, material, card-slot count and colour, which are the four specifications that decide whether a wallet sells in a given market.

Which wallet lots are currently available?

No wallets lots are listed right now. Lots appear here as they are counted in, so ask and we will check the warehouse and our supplier network.

Availability is confirmed at enquiry rather than reserved by the listing. Buyers booking freight ask us to confirm the quantity first. Wallets sit within our current ready stock and ship in the same consignment as garments.

What wallet formats are held in stock?

Five formats dominate men's wallets: bi-fold, tri-fold, card holder, zip-around and money clip. Lots state the format, and the format fixes the pocket layout and the folded dimensions. Card-slot count and piece count are also stated per lot.

What wallet formats are held in stock
FormatLayoutTypical use
Bi-foldFolds once, notes in the centreEveryday wallet
Tri-foldFolds twice, more card slotsHigher card capacity
Card holderNo note compartment, or a single sleeveSlim carry
Zip-aroundZipper on three sidesCoins and travel documents
Money clipClip with card slotsMinimal carry

Bi-fold is the highest-volume format in the trade, since it fits a back pocket without bulk. Each lot gives the closed dimensions in millimetres, so a buyer checks the fit against the market's pocket habits.

What materials and card-slot specifications do lots state?

Materials are hide leather, bonded leather, PU synthetic and textile. A card slot is sized to a bank card, defined by ISO/IEC 7810 as 85.60 mm by 53.98 mm, so a slot carries a stated number of cards.

Material determines price and handfeel more than any other variable. The leather goods page explains the five grade classes from full-grain to PU. A lot stating "leather" without a grade is recorded as "grade unconfirmed".

Card-slot count per lot ranges across formats and is stated numerically on the sheet. Lining material, edge finish (folded, painted or burnished) and stitch consistency are inspected on sample pieces before listing.

Do wallets in stock carry RFID blocking?

Some do, and the lot sheet says so. RFID blocking uses a metallic or conductive layer inside the wallet to shield contactless cards, and a claim is verified by documentation or test, never by the label on the packaging.

Where a lot is described as RFID-blocking, we ask the lot holder for supporting documentation and state "claim unverified" where none is supplied. A buyer selling the feature as a retail benefit tests a sample piece with a contactless card before committing to quantity.

How do stock lots differ from wallets made to order?

A stock lot is finished product in a fixed quantity, colour and format, available now. Made-to-order production allows custom hide, hardware and embossing but runs to a longer timeline set by the supplier.

Buyers testing a market or filling an accessories range alongside garments take stock lots. Buyers needing a logo, a particular hide or custom card layout use the sourcing service, which places the programme with a vetted wallet maker. Wallets are outside our own garment production, and we mark them as sourced where that applies. Larger quantities from cancelled or surplus runs appear under bulk lot inventory.

How are wallets packed and shipped?

Wallets ship one per polybag or gift box, inside master cartons packed by format and colour. Goods leave Bangladesh through the port of Chattogram. Leather wallets classify under HS heading 4202.

Buyers with retail display needs state the packing format before packing: boxed, bagged, or tagged with barcode labels. Reworking a packed carton is expensive, so the specification goes with the order rather than after. Non-leather wallets classify differently, as the HS codes guide explains.
